TURCOTTE SPECIAL ADULT STICKHANDLING CLINIC
The Gardens Ice House offers the only Adult Class held in the U.S.
Internationally famous Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School will once again be offered this July 18th, 19th & 20th at The Gardens Ice House!
The fee for the weekend clinic is $185
The camp offers you a wonderful opportunity to improve your stickhandling skills.
The camp consists of 1:20 minutes learning stickhandling moves and 80 minutes of shooting, passing and double loop. Our goal is to have 7 to 1 ratio of skaters to instructor. The ratio allows our staff to work individually with each student every day.
As you get more constructive repetition to stickhandling, you will master the mechanics of the moves which will allow you to beat a defender one on one and become much more creative. You will also become a much better passer, pass receiver and playmaker. Your confidence level will increase tremendously. You will enjoy the game more and have much more fun playing it.

Each year players have raved about the clinic and the effort that head instructor Gus and his staff put into the classes. If enough registrations warrant a second grouping of ice will be available. But please sign up as soon as possible. Ask the folks from last year I am sure they will agree it was well worth the time and money and those may be the folks that just went around you.

The WJHL is a new Independent Jr A. Hockey League starting for the 2008-2009 season. The goal of the league is to promote junior age players and help keep some homegrown talent from leaving the state while also providing them the opportunities to showcase their abilities.
The WJHL is not limited to Wisconsin talent only the WJHL has a network of scouts worldwide. The WJHL is for all Junior age players who are looking to develop into that next desired level.
The Wisconsin Junior Hockey League is holding prospect camps for the entire league. Every team will have representatives to evaluate and scout for their teams. The WJHL is Junior A. The WJHL doesn't require players to pay to play hockey. The WJHL does require players to cover billet fees and insurance. Players in high school are required to billet with host families while players whom have graduated may have an apartment not provided by the team or billet with a host family. The WJHL provides players the chance to play 70 games of highly competitive hockey. Each team has an education professional on staff along with athletic trainers.
