Join the 2025 Summer Show
The Gardens Sports Academy annual Summer Show is a fun, rewarding opportunity for members
and other local skaters to demonstrate their skills and interact with their skating community. Skaters
have the opportunity to participate in large groups, small groups and/or duet/trio and solo numbers
depending on skill level, testing and competition achievements. All Learn to Skate and Academy
skaters are encouraged to participate in this event.
2025 Show Details
Featuring numbers from Frozen, High School Musical, and A Chorus Line
Practices begin on June 25th and are held every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Show Date: August 15, 2024. Time 6:00pm
The Gardens Ice House, Laurel, MD 20707
Application Deadline: June 4th (3 weeks prior to the start of rehearsals)
Group registration options and fees:
Two group numbers (all levels) = $110
Step outs and two group numbers (Pre freeskate and Higher) =$165
(Step outs: allow a skater to perform an individual Jump and/or Spin during their group performance)
Solo, Duet/trio and two Group numbers (Axel or higher) =$195
Practice schedule:
Practice for group numbers will begin Wednesday June 25th from 6:00pm-7:00pm and will be held every week.
Off-Ice practices will also be held at the same time, in the Logsdon Pavilion. A practice schedule for when and what groups will be working on and off ice will be provided to registered skaters.
Duets/Solos choreography will be arranged and scheduled by the Show Director.
(Additional Coaching Fees will apply.)
Dress Rehearsal, Thursday August 14th at 5:00pm.

*Class participation depends on enrollment level.
Agreement terms: Gardens Sports Academy participants must agree to an online monthly billing agreement. Participants must be enrolled in the program for 60-day days. Participants may cancel their membership in the program at any time after the first 30 days by providing a written notice 30 days prior to the intended cancellation date to the Skating Director. Gardens Sports reserves the right to make any changes or modifications to this program at its discretion with a 30 day notice to its members.
